Portrait of Ela Ilham von Schöning, founder of EIVS Studio

Origin

Born in Germany with deep Moroccan roots, Ela Ilham von Schöning writes from the seam between two worlds. Berlin winters and Marrakech light. Formal European restraint and Maghrebi warmth. Her voice as an artist is unmistakably shaped by both — precise, rhythmic, and quietly emotional.

EIVS Studio is the room she built to protect that voice: a small, deliberate house for the development of feature films, prestige television, and the original songs that live inside them.

Creative Focus

Ela's craft centers on character-driven, commercially viable feature films and series with deep emotional resonance. She writes for rhythm and for silence — for layered relationships, cultural friction, and the small tender moments that make a story travel across borders.

Her projects are conceived from the outset with international appeal: universal emotional stakes, culturally specific texture, and a musical sensibility that lets a scene breathe.

“I focus on developing commercially viable, character-driven films and series with international appeal. My goal is to collaborate with studios and production companies to bring emotionally resonant stories to global audiences.”

You don’t just make films — you create them through characters. Each one should feel so unique, yet so real, it could be your neighbor… or someone you’ve never met, but somehow already know.
